As part of the field visits conducted by the University of Gharyan Office of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation to its faculties, Dr. Tarik Faraj Idbeaa, Director of the University Office of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation, conducted a visit to the Faculty of Accounting, coinciding with the regular meeting of the Faculty Council.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Khalifa Al-Mashai, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Abdulbasit Emhamed Al-Wasif, Head of the Faculty Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department; and the Heads of the Faculty’s academic departments.

The meeting addressed several issues related to the development of the educational process and the enhancement of the quality assurance system. Key topics included discussing the difficulties and challenges affecting efforts to improve the quality of the educational process, as well as identifying the Faculty’s resource and infrastructure needs that may affect the implementation of its development plans and programs.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants agreed on the importance of developing a clear and comprehensive action plan that defines the necessary objectives and implementation procedures. The plan will translate the Faculty’s overall strategic objectives into measurable and implementable operational objectives that can be effectively monitored and evaluated, thereby supporting continuous improvement in academic and administrative performance.
