Meeting on Continuous Improvement and Development at the Faculty of Science – Gharyan
As part of the Faculty of Science – Gharyan’s efforts to promote continuous improvement and development, a meeting was held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Faculty’s Quality Assurance Office. The meeting was attended by the Director of the University Office of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation, the Head of the Faculty Quality Assurance Department, the Postgraduate Studies Coordinator, Quality Coordinators from the academic departments, and the Heads of Academic Departments.
The meeting addressed several issues related to the development of the quality assurance system and the enhancement of academic performance, most notably:
- Developing an action plan to initiate the programmatic accreditation process, including identifying the necessary implementation steps and priorities for fulfilling accreditation standards and requirements.
- Reviewing the Postgraduate Studies File of the Department of Botany, and discussing the necessary steps and procedures to ensure the quality of the educational process and fulfill the relevant quality assurance and licensing requirements.
- Following up on the progress made regarding the technical licensing files for other programs planned to offer postgraduate studies, and assessing their level of readiness and completion of the required requirements.
The meeting forms part of the Faculty’s commitment to strengthening the culture of quality assurance, supporting continuous improvement, and enhancing readiness for programmatic accreditation and postgraduate programs, thereby contributing to the development of academic performance and the improvement of educational outcomes.
