The University of Gharyan welcomed, on Monday, April 28, 2025, at the University Administration headquarters in Gharyan, the audit team assigned by the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions. The visit was conducted as part of the assessment procedures for obtaining institutional accreditation for the Faculty of Arts – Al-Asabia.

The visiting audit team was received by:

Dr. Saleh Ramadan Qashout – President of the University of Gharyan.

Dr. Tarik Idbeaa – Director of the University Office of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Labad – Dean of the Faculty of Arts – Al-Asabia.

In his welcoming address, the University President expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the audit team for its visit, reaffirming the University’s full support for the team’s work and its commitment to providing all necessary facilities to enable the team to carry out its responsibilities effectively. He also wished the team success in completing its tasks.

Following the meeting, the audit team proceeded to the Faculty of Arts – Al-Asabia, which had undertaken extensive preparations over several months to receive the team and complete the requirements of the visit. The team was headed by Dr. Abdulkarim Al-Tawil. The visit commenced with welcoming remarks from the Faculty administration and its representatives, followed by the immediate commencement of the institutional audit and evaluation process in accordance with the approved standards and requirements.

This visit forms part of the University of Gharyan’s ongoing efforts to enhance academic and institutional quality, strengthen the culture of quality assurance and accreditation, and support continuous improvement in performance, thereby contributing to institutional excellence and improving the quality of higher education outcomes.
