Submission of Institutional Accreditation Documents for the Faculties of Science – Gharyan and Arts – Al-Asabia
On Monday, August 28, 2023, the institutional accreditation documents and files for the Faculty of Science – Gharyan and the Faculty of Arts – Al-Asabia, University of Gharyan, were formally submitted to the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions. This submission was part of the University’s efforts to complete the official procedures required for institutional accreditation.

Representing the Faculty of Science – Gharyan:
Dr. Shahoub Al-Ahmar – Dean of the Faculty.
Dr. Tarik Idbeaa – Director of the Faculty Quality Assurance Office.
Representing the Faculty of Arts – Al-Asabia:
Dr. Abdullah Al-Mukhtar Al-Labbad – Dean of the Faculty.
Dr. Abdulkarim Ibrahim Al-Tuwair – Director of the Faculty Quality Assurance Office.
The University delegation was received by representatives of the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions, including:
Dr. Abdullah Abduljalil – Director General of the Center.
Dr. Abdulmajid Al-Tayeb Shaaban – Director of the Accreditation Department.
Dr. Salem Al-Sharif Al-Fard – Director of the Quality Assurance Department.
During the meeting, all participants emphasized the importance of obtaining institutional accreditation from the Center, given its significant role in enhancing the performance of educational institutions, promoting a culture of quality, improving institutional efficiency, and ensuring the effective organization and regulation of procedures and practices associated with the educational process in accordance with approved standards and regulations.
The submission of these documents represents an important step in the University of Gharyan’s and its faculties’ ongoing efforts to strengthen quality assurance and academic accreditation, promote continuous improvement, and enhance the quality of academic and administrative performance.
