Periodic Meeting of the University Office of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation and Heads of Quality Assurance Departments at the Faculties

The University of Gharyan Office of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation held its periodic meeting with the Heads of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Departments at the University’s faculties on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, in the University meeting room. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Tarik Faraj Idbeaa, Director of the University Office of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation.
The meeting addressed a number of issues related to monitoring and developing the quality assurance system across the University’s faculties, most notably:
Monitoring the implementation of plans: Emphasizing the importance of preparing and submitting periodic monitoring reports on the implementation of activities and programs included in the operational plans, in accordance with the specified timelines.
Addressing challenges and obstacles: Reviewing the problems and difficulties faced by some faculties in fulfilling and providing quality assurance requirements and standards, and working toward appropriate solutions.
Preparation for institutional accreditation: Discussing the readiness of faculties that have obtained authorization to operate academic programs to formally commence the procedures for applying for institutional accreditation.
Developing a quality assurance roadmap: Agreeing on a roadmap for the gradual implementation and monitoring of quality assurance requirements across the faculties, while establishing priorities and implementation stages to ensure continuous improvement.
The meeting forms part of the University of Gharyan Office of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation’s commitment to strengthening coordination and continuous communication with quality assurance departments across the faculties, monitoring the implementation of quality plans, and supporting faculties in fulfilling the requirements for institutional and programmatic accreditation. These efforts contribute to enhancing academic and administrative performance and advancing the University’s objectives in quality assurance and institutional excellence.
