As part of the ongoing efforts of the University of Gharyan to promote a culture of quality assurance and academic accreditation, the series of quality-related workshops organized by the Faculty of Science continued for the second consecutive week.

In this context, the Faculty of Science organized a workshop on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, entitled “Applying for Institutional Accreditation.” The workshop was prepared and delivered by Dr. Tarik Faraj Idbeaa, Quality Coordinator at the Faculty of Science.

The workshop brought together representatives from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Dentistry, and Faculty of Health Sciences. It addressed a number of topics related to institutional accreditation standards and requirements, as well as the mechanisms and procedures for preparing faculties to apply for accreditation.

The workshop forms part of a broader series of training activities aimed at raising awareness of quality assurance and accreditation concepts and developing the capacities of academic and administrative staff across the University’s faculties, thereby supporting their efforts to fulfill quality and accreditation requirements.

The workshop series will continue to include the various faculties of the University of Gharyan that have not yet applied for institutional accreditation, contributing to the strengthening of institutional practices and supporting the University’s continuous improvement and accreditation efforts.
