The visit of the audit team assigned by the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions to the Faculty of Science, University of Gharyan, continued for the second consecutive day as part of the assessment and follow-up procedures related to obtaining institutional accreditation.

The audit team was accompanied during the second day of its activities by:

• Dr. Tarik Idbeaa – Director of the University Office of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation.
• Dr. Nasser Abu Rawi – Dean of the Faculty of Science.
• Dr. Intisar Nasr – Vice Dean for Academic Affairs.
• Ms. Sana Ramadan Al-Jali – Head of the Faculty Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department.

The team’s activities on the second day included visits to the Registrar’s Office, the Department of Study and Examinations, and a number of academic departments. The team reviewed quality assurance files, documents, records, and supporting evidence related to various aspects of academic and administrative performance, as well as the extent to which they meet the applicable standards and requirements.

The audit team members emphasized the importance of maintaining the Faculty’s ongoing efforts to improve performance and enhance the quality of educational outcomes. They also commended the commitment, cooperation, and professionalism demonstrated by the Faculty administration, the Quality Assurance team, and the relevant units throughout the visit.

For her part, Ms. Sana Ramadan Al-Jali praised the pivotal role played by the audit team in supporting the Faculty’s continuous improvement and development efforts. She reaffirmed the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department’s commitment to full cooperation with the team, fulfilling all requirements of the National Center, and continuously improving academic and administrative performance in alignment with the Faculty’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives.

This visit forms part of the ongoing efforts of the Faculty of Science, University of Gharyan, to strengthen its quality assurance system, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and complete the requirements for institutional accreditation.
