As part of the preparations of the Faculty of Arts – Al-Asabia, University of Gharyan, to receive the audit team from the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions, Dr. Tarik Faraj Idbeaa, Director of the University Office of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation, conducted a field visit to the Faculty to review its latest preparations and arrangements for receiving the audit team.

During the visit, the Director of the University Office of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation held a meeting with the Dean of the Faculty and the Director of the Faculty Quality Assurance Office. The meeting focused on reviewing the arrangements made to fulfill the applicable quality standards and examining the evidence, supporting documents, and records associated with the indicators of each standard, while ensuring that they were properly organized and readily available for the audit process.

The meeting also addressed preparations for organizing a training workshop for faculty members and support staff assigned to complete the requirements of the quality standards and undertake the Faculty’s self-study. The workshop aims to strengthen their capacity to carry out their assigned responsibilities in accordance with the requirements of institutional accreditation.

In addition, the meeting discussed existing challenges and difficulties and possible measures to address them, as well as establishing a clear timeline for the preparations, organizing arrangements for receiving the audit team, and providing the necessary facilities to ensure the smooth and effective conduct of the team’s work.

This visit forms part of the ongoing efforts of the University of Gharyan and the Faculty of Arts – Al-Asabia to complete the requirements for institutional accreditation, strengthen the culture of quality assurance, and support the continuous improvement of academic and administrative performance.
