A meeting between the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions and the University of Gharyan was held on Monday morning, July 15, 2024. The Center was represented by Dr. Abdullah Abduljalil Mohammed, Director General of the Center; Dr. Abdulmajid Al-Tayeb Shaaban, Director of the Department of Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions; Dr. Salem Al-Sharif Al-Fard, Director of the Quality Assurance Department; Ms. Laila Dakheel, Head of the Medical Education Section; Eng. Ali Al-Feqhi, Director of the Center’s Affairs Office and Rapporteur of the Deliberation Committee.

The University of Gharyan was represented by Dr. Saleh Qashout, President of the University; Dr. Khamis Al-Mabrouk, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Tarik Faraj Idbeaa, Director of the University Office of Quality Assurance; and Dr. Jamal Al-Bahloul, Head of the Quality Assurance Department at the Faculty of Medicine.

During the meeting, representatives of the Center presented a number of observations and recommendations regarding the visit of the audit team to the Faculty of Human Medicine, particularly concerning the findings and requirements identified during the visit. These observations and recommendations will be taken into consideration and addressed due to their importance in supporting the Faculty’s efforts to obtain institutional and programmatic accreditation.
